Bio

As a native of Prattville, Jocelyn Stovall graduated from Prattville High School in 2001 and went on to attend Huntingdon College from 2001-2002, where she majored in music.  After which she transferred to The University of Alabama and majored in Music Therapy. While attending The University she studied piano and voice extensively and performed with various university ensembles. In December 2007, Mrs. Jocelyn obtained her Bachelor's of Music degree from The University of Alabama.  After teaching for several years, Mrs. Jocelyn decided to pursue a higher level degree to expand her knowledge and skill in music. In December 2015, she graduated with Master's of Music Therapy degree from Georgia College. This past summer Mrs. Jocelyn completed her Master of Education in Instructional Leadership degree from the University of West Alabama.  She is looking forward to using her enhanced skills and knowledge with in the music classroom this year.

The goal of the kindergarten music class is to expose children to music in a structured and fun environment that allows them to learn through body movement, playing instruments, singing, and creating music.   The music class provides an atmosphere where all children can learn and benefit from music at their own pace.
